Matt joined NIBE almost three years ago as Marketing Assistant, his first career role after completing an MSc in Marketing. Before that, he gained international experience living and working in Canada as a ski instructor and for a property firm, following his undergraduate degree in Economics and History. At NIBE, Matt has found real direction in his career and enjoys being part of a close-knit and collaborative marketing team.

Q&A

1. What do you enjoy most about working at NIBE?

It’s definitely the people. I’m fortunate to work in a small team that gels really well together. We’ve got a great mix of personalities and skills that tie together perfectly.

2. What are your main responsibilities?

As Marketing Assistant, I support projects across the team and wider company. I’ve had a lot of involvement with events, digital and the professional website team in Sweden. More recently, I’ve focused on supporting the Distribution channel and developing product marketing skills alongside Rick.

3. How long have you been working with heat pumps?

2 years and 9 months, it’ll be three years in January.

4. What’s your favorite part of the job?

Attending events. It’s rewarding to see months of work come to life and it’s one of the few times each year that sales and marketing come together.

5. Tell us something about yourself outside of work.

I’m a big fan of The Lord of the Rings (extended editions, of course!). My favorite food is medium-rare steak and chips with peppercorn sauce, best enjoyed with a crisp Pepsi Max.
