Daniel Vaughan - Technical Support Engineer

Daniel Vaughan - Technical Support Engineer

“I’ve gone from fitting heat pumps on site to supporting engineers in the field and I love that I still get hands-on with the technology every day.”

Daniel originally studied a media technology degree but soon found himself drawn back to the practical side of building services, inspired by his dad’s career in construction. After learning plumbing skills while renovating properties, he moved into renewables, retrofitting air source heat pumps and progressing from apprentice installer to lead engineer.

With qualifications including NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Water Regulations, G3, and Level 3 Heat Pump Installation & Maintenance, he brings both technical expertise and hands-on experience to his role.

At NIBE, Daniel supports installation and service engineers across the UK, providing advice on system performance, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and technical queries, as well as keeping his knowledge sharp in the training centre.
