About the role

The Pre-Sales Support Specialist will form a key part of the customer journey between technical surveys and installation. Working in person from our Chesterfield head office you’ll help customers understand their survey results, answer technical questions, support quote acceptance, coordinate activities with internal teams, and ensure customers are ready for installation.

You will act as a liaison between customers, surveyors, design, and operations teams to increase clarity, reduce delays, and improve the overall customer experience.

What will you do?

  • Respond to customer enquiries following technical surveys and prior to installation
  • Explain survey outcomes, next steps, system options and installation expectations
  • Liaise with design, survey, sales and operations teams to resolve questions and remove blockers
  • Prepare and send technical information, documentation and guidance to customers
  • Coordinate customer communications to ensure clarity and readiness for installation
  • Track and escalate technical or compliance issues that may impact scheduling or installation quality
  • Ensure customer records, notes and interactions are accurately logged in CRM systems
  • Support continuous improvement of pre-sales support materials and processes
  • Stay up to date with product specifications, technical standards and installation requirements
  • On occasion support other Technical Department activities at the discretion of your manager

What will you bring?

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
  • Comfortable explaining technical information clearly and patiently
  • Experience in renewable energy, HVAC, building services, plumbing, heating or related sectors – desirable but not essential
  • Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools for documentation and communication
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
