NIBE launches major UK campaign encouraging homeowners to rethink how they heat their homes

New campaign debuts in Britain first as part of London Climate Action Week

Chesterfield, 18 June 2026 - NIBE has chosen the UK as the first country in the world to launch its new global advertising campaign, encouraging homeowners to think differently about the future of home heating. Launching during London Climate Action Week, the campaign carries a simple message: "Removing fossil fuels from heating. For good."

The launch reflects NIBE's commitment to supporting the conversations taking place during London Climate Action Week around the future of energy, buildings and climate action.

For many years, discussions about heating have focused primarily on reducing carbon emissions. NIBE's new campaign expands that conversation, highlighting how modern heat pump technology can help households reduce their reliance on fossil fuels while providing comfortable, reliable heating for the future.

From transport hubs to major outdoor advertising locations, the campaign will appear across London through a series of prominent outdoor advertising locations and public activations, bringing the conversation about home heating directly to consumers.

Maria Hagg, Head of Marketing Communications, EMEA at NIBE, said: “This campaign is about helping people see heating differently. Sustainability remains incredibly important, but homeowners are also thinking about comfort, reliability and how their homes will perform in the years ahead. Heat pumps are a proven technology that can help address all of these priorities.

“We wanted to start this global campaign in the UK because it is a market where interest in future-ready heating is growing rapidly and where conversations about the future of energy are taking place at every level," she added.

Olivia Downing, Head of Marketing at NIBE Energy Systems Limited, said: "When people think about heating their homes, they increasingly want solutions that are reliable, efficient and built for the future. Heat pumps offer exactly that. Our new campaign is about helping people understand that there is an alternative to fossil fuel heating. The energy needed to heat our homes already exists all around us; heat pumps simply unlock it in a smart and efficient way.

"We're proud that the UK has been chosen as the first country to launch this global campaign, particularly during London Climate Action Week when conversations about the future of energy and sustainability are taking place across the capital,” she added.

With more than 40 years of experience in heat pump technology and millions of installations worldwide, NIBE is using the campaign to demonstrate that heat pumps are not an emerging technology, but a proven solution already helping households across Europe and beyond.

The company believes the future of heating should combine comfort, efficiency and long-term sustainability, helping homeowners create homes that are ready for the future.
