She has worked closely with creative, media, print and fulfilment agencies, as well as leading events ranging from press shows and influencer evenings to product launch sessions for internal teams. She particularly enjoys getting under the skin of customer insight and turning it into engaging communications that reach people in the right place, at the right time.

In her new role as B2C Comms and Events Manager, Rachel will focus on how NIBE communicates directly with homeowners, helping to build awareness and understanding of heat pump technology through consumer communications, campaigns and events.

What's the best thing about working at NIBE?

I’m still very new to NIBE, but what has really stood out to me so far is the warm welcome I have received and the passion people have for the business and the industry. There’s a real sense of purpose around helping more people make the move to low-carbon heating, and I’m excited to be part of that journey and bring my marketing experience to the team.

What motivates you?

Energy, passion and being part of a great team. I love having a goal to work towards, bringing different people together and having fun along the way. For me, the best marketing happens when you combine a really good understanding of the customer with a team that is excited about what they’re creating.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love getting out in my campervan and exploring the UK, although I’m equally happy heading abroad for a holiday. I’m also a big reader and enjoy getting out for long walks with my dog.

Dog or cat person?

100% dogs! I have an 11-year-old cockerpoo called Barney. He’s very emotional, very vocal and has a lot to say for himself, but I wouldn’t have him any other way.

Favourite food and drink?

It would have to be a roast beef dinner with a Yorkshire pudding and a large glass of Savvy B!
