Mathew Williamson – Technical Support Advisor

Mathew Williamson – Technical Support Advisor

Mathew joined NIBE as a Technical Support Advisor, bringing almost a decade of hands-on experience across the plumbing, heating and renewable energy sectors. Beginning his career in plumbing and heating in Sheffield, Mathew developed extensive experience working on domestic heating systems and qualified as a Gas Safe registered engineer. In 2023, he made the move into renewables, joining a specialist heat pump company in Ireland.

Over the next two and a half years, Mathew worked extensively with air source, ground source and exhaust air heat pumps across domestic and light-commercial properties. His role covered everything from servicing and fault finding to installation and commissioning, giving him broad practical experience of heat pump technology and heating systems.

Now part of NIBE’s technical support team, Mathew is putting that experience to use supporting customers and installers, while continuing to build his knowledge in an industry that never stands still.
