Joshua Poole – Home Energy Advisor
As Home Energy Advisor, Josh helps homeowners navigate their journey towards a more energy-efficient home, combining technical knowledge with a strong focus on customer service. Josh brings a varied background to the role, with experience spanning self-build and renovation projects, property, customer service and technical engineering. Before joining NIBE, he worked closely with homeowners, surveyors, designers and operational teams to help take projects from survey through to installation readiness. This experience now supports his work with NIBE Home.
What ties it all together is Josh’s enthusiasm for making a difference. Whether that means helping a homeowner understand their options, delivering a great customer experience or playing a part in growing NIBE Home, he wants customers to feel confident in both the technology and the people behind it.
“I want NIBE to become a household name - known not just for incredible products, but for the service and support that comes with them.”
Q&A
What's the best thing about working at NIBE?
Everyone’s drive to succeed and do the right thing for our customers. There’s very much an “if you’re going to do a job, do it right” mentality here and I think that’s a big part of what makes NIBE stand out.
What motivates you?
Impact. On the bigger scale, I want to help make NIBE Home a leading name in renewable heating. But it’s also about the smaller impacts we can make every day.... educating people about our products, providing brilliant customer service and giving customers an experience they can trust.
What do you do in your spare time?
I’m an aviation enthusiast (not to be confused with an anorak!) You’ll often find me at airshows, flying aircraft or inhaling A-1 jet fuel from the airport fence. I’m also on a mission to get my kids into planes because they’re awesome.
Dog or cat person?
Dog, 1000%. Cats had the audacity to domesticate themselves. At least dogs are grateful!
Favourite food & drink?
Cat. No, I’m joking! A good curry (any curry) but it must come with a peshwari naan. And an ice-cold Pepsi Max Cherry, which for some reason always tastes better from KFC.
