The NIBE S2060 is a high performance air-to-water heat pump built around an advanced R290 refrigerant circuit, providing high flow temperatures that suit both low temperature systems and modern radiator retrofits.
It offers outstanding levels of efficiency, building on NIBE’s reputation for quality, with a SCOP of up to 5.33. The S2060 uses R290 refrigerant without enforcing restrictive protective zones, giving installers far more flexibility on unit placement. With a total footprint of just 3.65m², it’s particularly well suited to properties where outdoor space is at a premium.
The S2060 requires neither glycol nor antifreeze valves for freeze protection, removing two of the most common sources of added cost and ongoing maintenance for homeowners.
The S2060 features a separate heating pump, giving installers greater design freedom and a smaller outdoor unit footprint. The pump can be sited internally for protection from the elements, is modulated by NIBE’s controls for improved efficiency, and comes in two capacity sizes to suit a wider range of system designs.

NIBE Smart Price Adaption
With Smart Price Adaption, the heat pump receives information about the electricity prices for the next 24 hours and then adapts the operation to these. The function is based on information about the hourly prices of the coming day from the electricity exchange NordPool Spot. The prices in combination with expected heating and hot water needs then automatically control the heat pump. This is in order to reduce energy costs and which in the long run contributes to a smaller environmental impact.
Natural refrigerant
The refrigerant moves energy in the form of liquid or gas in the heat pump. This heat pump works with a natural refrigerant that has a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential) value, for a sustainable climate and nature footprint.
Inverter controlled compressor
The heat pump has an inverter-controlled compressor that helps you as it automatically adapts to your house and supplies your plant with renewable energy.
