Job Description

The successful applicant will be maintaining the NIBE brand of products around the South East of England.

The role will primarily involve travelling to and from existing installations to carry-out warranty repairs and servicing to NIBE’s range of Ground Source, Air source and Exhaust air heat pump. All appointments are pre-arranged by our internal customer services team.

Working closely with our Technical Manager your duties will include:

  • Maintain a professional mannerism & work ethic when in customer’s properties.
  • Carry out in warranty, out of warranty & chargeable servicing & repair work.
  • Diagnose system problems and advise accordingly.
  • Write electronic reports.
  • Adhere to any health & Safety policies when in the work environment.
  • Diagnose & repair the NIBE products in an efficient manner.
  • Communication with clients and colleagues
  • Maintain your vehicle & stock to company requirements.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as required.
  • Carry out from time to time such duties as shall be required by the company’s management.


The person

  • To be the face of NIBE when on site.
  • To have the ability to diagnose faults, repair/replace the part & get the unit in a full working order again.
  • Excellent heating system knowledge essential.
  • Excellent hot / cold water system knowledge essential.
  • Refrigeration experience / knowledge, would be of benefit but not essential.
  • Electrical experience / knowledge, understand the difference between three phase & single phase circuits.
  • Biomass experience / knowledge, would be of benefit but not essential.
  • Ability to keep a van stock of parts in an efficient manner.
  • Happy working under their own initiative.
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations when on site.
  • The willing to learn new skills.
