The water tank consists of a steel vessel, with a copper lining to protect against corrosion. Thermal insulation is provided by CPC-free polyurethane insulation, ensuring excellent thermal performance.The outer casing is made from impact resistant plastic plate.
The NIBE PUB 500 is equipped with a lifting eye and it can be made less bulky by removing the insulation.
The water heater is designed for upright installation.
In accordance with current norms, the following must be mounted on the cold water side: safety valve, non-return valve, shut-off valve and a vacuum valve. The water heater is equipped with a draining device.
Mount a mixer valve on the hot water side so that the outgoing hot water temperature is limited to 60 °C. If this valve is not fitted, some other actions must be taken to prevent the risk of scalding.
The inlet temperature to the battery circuit must not exceed 95°C!
