The water heater consists of a stainless steel vessel, (grade EN 1.4521). The outer casing is made of impact resistant plastic plate.
Thermal insulation is provided by seamless CPC-free polyurethane insulation, ensuring excellent thermal performance.
The water heater is designed for horizontal installation.
A complete set of valves, consisting of a mixer valve, nonreturn valve, safety/drain valve and shut-off valve, are factory fitted.
When installing the unit, be sure to leave sufficient room (approx. 500 mm) in front of the connection area to facilitate the replacement of any electrical equipment.
The water heater is equipped with a terminal block for connecting the supply power cable. The NIBE EL 160 and NIBE EL 250 have a standard output of 3 kW three-phase, but are also available in 6 kW design. The water heater can be connected to 230 VAC single-phase if required, but then the power output is limited to 2.0 kW.
The flanged, stainless steel (Alloy 254 SMO) immersion heater in a Ø 80 mm connection opening allows for simple dismantling, internal inspection and cleaning of the vessel. Adjustable thermostatic control to 80 °C.
